The micro down jacket material is made up of 3 layers; a light wadding caught between 2 coated nylon fabrics (polyester or polyamide), the whole being quilted with regular stitching. Thus, all the layers are united and are sewn without difficulty. It is possible to make the material yourself and adapt the thickness of the fleece according to the quality purchased and the density of the padding. The tighter the quilting, the finer the material will appear because the padding will be more flattened. On the contrary, if you space out the quilting stitches, the down jacket will seem more puffy.

This material is to be used to make accessories such as chapka, mittens, cases or bags but also more or less thin jackets, coats, pilot suits.
