This system guarantees a fast and secure connection to your account.
Once logged in, you will have access to your previous purchases (including PDF patterns that you can download again!).
To create an account, here are the steps to follow:
- Go to the "My Account" or "Login" page of our store.

ORDER / PURCHASE
How to buy?
- Add products to your cart.
- Once you have completed your selection, confirm your shopping cart and create a customer account if you have not already done so.
- Click on “continue to shipping” to choose your shipping method.
- Pay for your order. Be careful, the choice of the relay point is made after payment.
All you have to do now is wait for your order to be delivered!
Why am I stuck on the quantity of fabric to add to my cart?
If you can no longer add fabric to your cart and the message "maximum quantity reached" is displayed, this means that the quantity displayed corresponds to the yardage we have left in stock.
I would like a fabric sample to help me decide, can I order one?
Unfortunately, we do not offer fabric swatches. If you would like advice on a product match, please contact us and we will try to help!
How can I adjust?
You can pay by credit card, bank transfer or check.
- If you are in a hurry, the fastest option remains a bank card.
- For bank transfer and check payments, your order will be processed as soon as the transfer or check confirmation is received. This can take a little while, even for instant transfers!
DELIVERY
What are the shipping costs and delivery times?
We offer free shipping to Mondial Relay collection points from €80 in mainland France and €100 in Germany, Spain and Benelux.
Below these amounts, you have the choice between delivery to a Mondial Relay collection point (from €4.90), or to your home by Colissimo (from €7.50).
We ship orders within 24 to 72 hours, excluding promotional or sales periods. When your order is ready, we hand it over to our carriers. Once your packages are scanned, for mainland France, allow an average of 3 to 6 business days for Mondial Relay and 48 hours for Colissimo.
How to choose your relay point when ordering?
If you choose delivery to a relay point, be careful, the choice is made when choosing the payment method.
The list of Mondial Relay relay points is also available here .
I didn't choose my collection point when placing my order, where will it arrive?
Has your order not been shipped yet? There's still time to send us an email specifying your preferred collection point!
If you haven't selected a collection point when we create your order's shipping label, we'll choose the nearest available collection point. You can find your collection point address using the tracking link that will be sent to you.
I live in the French overseas departments and territories, can you ship my order?
Unfortunately, we've had a lot of delivery issues in the past for orders shipped overseas, so we no longer offer this option. You can still enjoy our patterns in PDF format!
How does a workshop collection work?
Are you lucky enough to live in Lyon or the surrounding area and would like to pick up your order at the workshop? When the different delivery options are displayed, choose the "pick up" option. You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready (usually in 2 to 4 days) and you can schedule an appointment at the workshop to pick up your order. Pickups are available Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
RETURNS / EXCHANGES
I changed my mind about a product, can I exchange it?
Digital or cut-to-size products cannot be returned or exchanged. For pocket patterns, we may very exceptionally offer an exchange if the pattern is new and unused. In this case, please contact us with your order number and the reason for the exchange (duplicate purchase, size error) at contact@ikatee.fr .
One of the items ordered has a defect, what should I do?
Damn! Did a flaw escape our discerning eyes? Send us an email at contact@ikatee.fr and we'll find a solution!
I have not received the haberdashery I ordered, what should I do?
If you don't find the haberdashery for your order in your shipping bag at first glance, we encourage you to fully unfold all the fabrics. We hide the haberdashery between two folds to prevent it from getting lost during the preparation and shipping of your order.
PRODUCTS
What will I receive when I purchase a PDF pattern?
You will receive a download link by email allowing you to download your files 5 times. The files are in PDF format, which you can then print at home or at a printer.
The pattern is sent to you in A0, A4 format with all sizes, and A4 by size. We also offer a video-projection version.
Ikatee patterns are for family use only. We kindly ask that you do not share them!
I just signed up for the newsletter and I haven't received the free pattern, why?
We invite you to check your spam folder and the promotions tab of your inbox. If you still can't find your pattern, you may not have validated your newsletter subscription. You should have received an email with a "confirm your subscription" button; click it. Your email should arrive shortly.
We only offer a pattern when you first sign up for the newsletter. If this is not your first time signing up, you will not receive the pattern.
I just purchased a PDF pattern. I haven't received it, why?
We encourage you to check your spam folder and the promotions tab of your inbox; our emails arrive there from time to time! If you still can't find your pattern, the payment may not have been successful.
You should have received a payment confirmation for credit card payments. For payments by check or bank transfer, you must wait until we have received the payment and manually validate the order. It is also possible that there was a typo in your email address; in this case, contact us: contact@ikatee.fr .
I received my PDF pattern tutorial in English, why?
All our patterns come with a French tutorial and an English guidebook. Be sure to download all your PDF pattern files; the French tutorial is included.
I bought the paper version of a pattern, I would like the PDF version, is this possible?
Unfortunately, no. Purchasing a pattern in the envelope version does not give access to the PDF format. Each version requires specific layout work on the dedicated files. The envelope version is printed and placed in an envelope. The PDF is available in file sizes by size, in multiple sizes, in 2 print formats, and in projectable format.
I bought a pattern, I just saw that there has been an update since then, how do I access it?
If you purchased a PDF pattern, you were sent a link to download the new version during the update. Alternatively, you can access it in your customer account, in your order history, and download your pattern again.
Unfortunately, we do not resend updates to customers who purchased the printed version of patterns. The field of sewing pattern creation is similar to that of publishing, and just as when a book is modified, the publisher does not resend the new version to all buyers.
Where can I find the necessary yardage for my sewing project?
All the yardage needed to sew our patterns is listed in the "Supplies Required" tab on the model's product page. Otherwise, all the information is also available in the tutorial, under "Fabrics & Supplies."
Are seam allowances included in the patterns?
Yes! Unless otherwise stated, seam allowances are included, generally 0.7 cm for baby and children's patterns, and 1 cm for women's patterns.
What size should I choose for my project?
In stores, we often buy a size larger than our age. At ikatee, for babies and children, we size according to the "actual" age: that is, if your child is 6 months old, you should sew them a 6-month-old! The most important measurement is your child's height. You can use our size guide to help you choose the right size.
For women, our patterns are created using standard commercial sizes. However, this may vary depending on your body shape and the piece you choose to sew! Take your measurements (chest, waist, and hips) and refer to our size chart to choose the most suitable size. If you're unsure between two sizes, choose the size you buy in a store.
SHOPS / RESELLERS
I would like to come and see you at the workshop for a shopping trip. Where can I make an appointment?
Are you passing through Lyon and would like to come for an hour of shopping? Appointments can be made here . This is the opportunity to come (re)discover our patterns and labels, benefit from our advice, admire the clothes we sew and marvel at our beautiful fabrics. Be careful, an hour goes by quickly! We advise you to do some research on the site before coming, to be able to fully enjoy this special moment.
Where to find our patterns?
Our patterns are available in a large network of haberdashery stores, in France and internationally. The complete list is available here .
COMMERCIAL USE
I would like to sell clothes made from Ikatee patterns. Is this possible?
The use of ikatee patterns is strictly personal and family-oriented. We are a small business that puts our heart into our work. We spend a lot of time creating our patterns to ensure they are of high quality, and the profits we make from the sale of our patterns allow us to continue to support our team of 5 people! Our goal as a business is to enable seamstresses to learn and sew clothes for themselves and their loved ones. Commercial use of our patterns goes against this approach.
