Interlining
Interfacing is a textile layer that is applied to the reverse side of the fabric to reinforce it, often because it will be subjected to a lot of stress (press studs, buttonholes and buttons) or because it will be subjected to particular tension. You may also want to give more support to a part of the garment (a collar for example). Learn how to apply interfacing in video .
At Ikatee we offer woven iron-on interfacing: it will follow the movement of the piece, structuring it while allowing it to retain its natural appearance.
Fleece or batting gives a puffy, quilted appearance to your fabric. It helps reinforce and quilt.
The mesh foam is fleecy, not woven. With its hold, it's perfect for making bags, reinforcements, and caps. It provides a firm yet soft hold.
