MACAO Women's Jacket Pattern PDF
Macao is a pattern for a jacket or vest with a relaxed fit and dropped shoulders. It offers a long-sleeved or sleeveless option. A shaped, lined neckband adds structure to the garment. Flat-felled seams ensure a strong and impeccable finish.
A comfortable garment, inspired by Japanese clothing, to be made in woven fabric or knit fabric.

The tutorial contains instructions for adapting the pattern to one's height.
The versions sewn in two floral denim jacquards and in Atelier Brunette gabardine are in size 36.
The quilted indigo floral version, the quilted checkered version from La Maison Naïve in ochre and the sherpa version are in size 42.

Fabrics & Supplies
- Suggested fabrics
- Jacket: denim, gabardine, canvas, jacquard, medium quilting, corduroy, linen, woollen cloth.
- Cardigan (knitted jacket): French terry, sweatshirt fabric, fleece, sherpa.
- Supplies
- Thin fusible interfacing.
- Classic polyester thread.
- Optional: denim or extra-strong thread for the upper spool.
- Optional: 20 mm buttons.
Optional: if the outer fabric is very thick, you can use a thinner secondary fabric for the neckband lining; you will need 85 cm of this secondary fabric. (*) Some fabrics, such as quilted fabrics, are generally only 130 to 135 cm wide.
