Travel bag size S in sherpa
Ideal for dance, nursery or short trips around town, this bag made with the Voyage sewing pattern is a size S. We have selected sherpa, very trendy this year.

Supplies to make this size S travel bag:
- Sherpa fabrics
- 25 mm or 30 mm ecru cotton strap for the hand-carried handles and the adjustable shoulder strap
- Mini checkered gingham lining
- Iron-on woven interfacing to stabilize the fabric
- 2 loops or half-round loops to attach the shoulder strap
- 1 sliding buckle to adjust the shoulder strap
- A 45cm non-separable zipper . You can also use zips by the meter (ecru on this model).
- A "Little Cat" label
Travel bag size M in gabardine
The M-sized bag can carry clothes and a toiletry bag for about an overnight stay. It can also be used for work, as its size allows you to carry documents, a laptop up to 15 inches, or even your sewing machine, provided you choose a durable fabric.

Supplies needed:
- Here we used Atelier Brunette Matcha Leaf gabardine, but you could just as easily use any other gabardine .
- The shoulder handles are made from the same fabric as the bag, so straps are not necessary.
- Lined in matching apple green mini gingham .
- Fusible interfacing with fleece to stabilize the fabric. You can also choose high-quality fleece batting . To do this, cut rectangles of batting the same size as the bag pieces. Place them against the wrong side of the fabric and secure the fabric and batting together by stitching all around the piece within the seam allowances.
- 2 zippers : one 15 cm for the outer pocket and one 55 cm for the main closure of the bag. The zippers are non-separable. You can also use zippers by the meter.
Travel bag size M in washed linen
Supplies needed:
- Here we used washed Pondicherry linen, which has been quilted, but you can just as easily use any other washed linen . The advantage of this type of fabric is that it is very durable.
- The shoulder straps and handles are made from the same fabric as the bag, so straps are not necessary.
- Cotton poplin lining
- This version used fleece interfacing to quilt the linen. You can also use high-quality fleece batting .
- 2 zippers : one 15 cm for the outer pocket and one 55 cm for the main closure of the bag. The zippers are non-separable. You can also use zippers by the meter.
- For the adjustable and removable shoulder strap, you will need 2 loops passing through a half-circle or a rectangle , as well as 2 carabiners and of course a sliding buckle for the shoulder strap to be adjustable.
L-size chambray travel bag
The large L-sized travel bag can hold things for a weekend away or can be used as a shopping or sports bag.

Supplies needed:
- Here we used a heavyweight denim fabric, namely 330g/m2. You can definitely go for another chambray, but if you want to keep the style of the bag (slightly stiff), then you will have to pay attention to the weight of the fabric per m2. You can find all our chambray fabrics here . We recommend using special denim needles to sew this type of fabric, or even denim thread.
- The shoulder handles are made from the same fabric as the bag, so straps are not necessary.
- For the lining, we opted for a lighter striped chambray .
- Iron-on woven interfacing to stabilize the fabric
- 2 zippers : one 15 cm long for the outer pocket and one 75 cm long for the main closure of the bag. The zippers are non-separable. You can also use zippers by the meter.
Pencil case - one size
The rectangular bag is large enough to hold a toiletry bag. It can also be used as a swimming bag, for example (choose a waxed material), a sewing bag, or even a drawing bag.

Supplies needed:
- The outer fabric is a polka dot milleraies velvet from Atelier Brunette and the lining is a pretty floral plumetis .
- The zipper is a 40cm non-separating zip , but it can also work with a separable zip .
- Iron-on woven interfacing to stiffen the fabric
- And of course, a small woven label for personalization.
