I love textured materials. The milleraies velvet is one of my favorites in winter. It is ideal for making skirts, dresses (sleeveless), pants, shorts or playsuits, overalls, jackets and accessories. It can be used with baby and children's sewing patterns.
It is a fabric with more or less marked ribs (thin ribs or coarse ribs) to obtain very different looks: sportswear, casual or chic.
Among its qualities : warmth, softness, resistance, shine, often a beautiful fall and well saturated colors. I prefer compositions with polyester which give more flexibility, shine and allow to obtain magnificent colors. 100% cotton can sometimes be a bit rough.
