To celebrate the launch of the 2023 edition of the Creations and Know-How Show, we invite you to come and discover our new Berlin pattern on stand F063! You will be able to admire the different versions from every angle thanks to our beautiful mannequins!

Berlin is a pattern for carrot pants and shorts that we wanted to be resolutely in tune with the times! The basic inspiration for the pants is the carrot shape, recognizable by a loose volume on the top at the hips and thighs and a slightly tightened bottom of the leg; the waist is high and defined.

Ikatee has reinterpreted the carrot shape in its own way, offering you a structured pattern with a casual-chic feel for a masculine-feminine look. The short, loose-fitting shorts and 7/8-length pants feature large patch pockets, a belt with belt loops, and a zippered fly. Berlin is a modern pattern that you can make for many occasions.

The pattern is available in sizes 32 to 52. At ikatee, 32 corresponds to a 14-year-old, and 34 to a 16-year-old. These sizes are therefore suitable for both women and teenage girls.

Berlin is available in either pocket or PDF format, with the projectable file included in the PDF version for those using the pattern projection technique.

Choice of materials

Berlin is a pattern designed to be sewn in woven fabric. To achieve very different looks, choose denim for trendy jeans, short corduroy for a dressy outfit, or gabardine or corduroy for a more casual version. For mid-winter, you can also use a fine wool, and for the holidays, an elegant jacquard, especially for the shorts version. Of course, for summer, a brightly colored linen will be the perfect fabric!
