Firstly, because you can choose the material, colors and patterns, because they're quick to sew, it's an excellent way to use up your fabric scraps (30 cm maximum and 2 pairs of panties in the width in small sizes) and you'll have the satisfaction of wearing them every day... or almost 😉!
Belle is a lingerie set pattern that includes a spaghetti strap tank top, panties, and boyshorts, available in high-waisted or low-waisted versions. This means you can make four different versions of panties. For finishing touches, we offer elastic bias binding, lingerie-specific elastic (with picot or lace, for example), and ribbed edging. All these options are presented in our tutorial video. We recommend watching it before you start.
The pattern is available in a pocket or PDF format, from 3 to 12 years for Belle , and from 34 to 46 for Belle Mum . The sewing level is intermediate. A tutorial booklet and a video are available to help you make this pattern.

Supplies
The great thing about Belle is that it allows you to use up fabric scraps (and that's really good, isn't it?). Belle can be sewn in stretchy materials: jersey, pointelle, or honeycomb mesh. For the inner gusset, we recommend a basic cotton jersey. You'll also need some garter thread to put in the bobbin or the main looper. This fluffy, puffy thread is particularly soft and will therefore be perfect for comfort, as the panty seams are in direct contact with the skin. A twin needle can also be used for pretty finishes. Finally, we offer a wide selection of elastic and ribbing to play with the details of your lingerie set.
