De stof krimpt vaak bij de eerste wasbeurt, ongeveer 5 tot 10%. Het is daarom aan te raden om enkele centimeters extra stof te rekenen ten opzichte van je behoeften, en de stof eerst te wassen voordat je hem knipt.
