NIKKO bathroom accessories PDF pattern
Nikko is a set of patterns to create 6 bathroom and travel accessories: a headband and wristbands, a wipe, a soap pouch, storage bags in three sizes and a travel case.
Headband and wristbands, wipes, soap pouch : easy and quick to sew, they are made with a part in absorbent sponge-type fabric.
Storage bags with a drawstring, drawstrings and French seams.
Compact, portable pouch for multiple uses: toiletry bag, makeup bag, knitting needle storage, or pencil case. It features zippered pockets and compartments, folds into 3, closes with ties or a button, and can be hung.
Very useful products for everyday use or on the go and easy to sew.

Fabrics & Supplies
- Fabric suggestions
- Headband / wristbands / washcloth / soap pouch - Fabric 1: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, quilted fabric, lightweight gabardine. Fabric 2: terry cloth or honeycomb fabric. Optional: woven or thin quilted fusible interfacing (except for wristbands).
- Pouches - Fabrics 1 and 2: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, lightweight gabardine, quilted fabric, mesh, thin nylon canvas.
- Pouch - Fabrics 1 and 2: poplin, seersucker, chambray, washed linen, canvas or gabardine, quilted fabric, fine nylon canvas. Fabric 3 (lining): poplin, seersucker, chambray. Quilted or wadding interlining.
- Supplies
- Headband: 3 x 7 cm hook-and-loop fastener.
- Cuffs: 4 cm wide elastic.
- Soap pouch: 1 or 2 cm wide cotton twill ribbon (option 1) or thin round elastic cord and 15 mm button (option 2).
- Pouches: 1 or 2 cm wide cotton twill ribbon or round or flat cord.
- Kit: 2 non-separable 4 mm wide nylon zip fasteners. For the fastening: 1 or 2 cm wide cotton twill ribbon (option 1) or thin round elastic cord and 15 mm button (option 2). For the flap pull tab: 1 cm wide twill ribbon.
- Fabric requirements 1, 2 and 3 are valid for fabric widths of 110 to 140 cm.
- To make the "headband + wristbands + washcloth + soap pouch" set, you will need a total of: 35 cm of fabric 1, 35 cm of fabric 2, 45 cm of interfacing.
Interfacing is only necessary if fabric 2 is thin and stretchy. If this is not the case, do not use interfacing.
Optionally, the soap pouch can be sewn with a waterproof fabric such as PUL between the layers. In this case, allow for a rectangle measuring 30 x 20 cm.
