This quilted cotton poplin is printed with a lovely bouquet pattern in a coordinated checkerboard. A very high-quality fabric, comfortable and soft, warm, perfect for making vests, jackets, pouches, bags, accessories, blankets, crib bumpers, and sleeping bags.

Its special feature? The quilting is one-sided (printed poplin + wadding + non-woven fabric). Unlike double-sided quilting, no fabric side is sacrificed: the choice of lining remains entirely free. One-sided quilting also greatly simplifies finishing choices, allowing fully lined creations as is often the case at ikatee, thus avoiding the need to bind all seams with bias tape. Details

Colors: ecru background, checks and printed flowers in shades of orange and green. Batting and white nonwoven fabric.

Quilting type: 5 cm x 5 cm square quilting, topstitched with ecru thread.

Fabric width: 140 cm.

Weight: 330 g/m2

Material type: quilted fabric, meaning a layer of batting (90g/m2) enclosed between a layer of poplin and a layer of nonwoven fabric, all quilted at regular intervals to form a pattern.
Composition & Care

Poplin composition: 100% cotton, Oeko-tex standard 100 certified.

Batting composition: 70% polyester, 30% bi-component heat-bonded fiber.

Nonwoven fabric composition: 52% polyester, 48% cotton.

Care instructions: wash at 30°C. Avoid tumble drying. It is always recommended to wash the fabric once before cutting. Note, the fabric may shrink after the first wash. Iron at low temperature.

Sewing tips

Coordinated thread: Mettler 537.

Recommended needle: universal needle.
