This heavy canvas from Danish designer Mind the maker is of excellent quality. It holds its shape very well and will be perfect for your bag, tote and other accessory projects.

We cut every 10 cm with a minimum of 50 cm

Material type: heavy washed canvas, a heavy cotton fabric. Its tight, dense "basket weave" makes it slightly water-repellent.

Composition & Care

Composition: 100% cotton.

Care: thick, heavy fabrics tend to show marks when washed. This heavy canvas can be washed, but with care. It is best to hand wash without spinning (and without wringing) and to leave it to dry flat. When in use, gently rub any stains with a small brush or a toothbrush.
Sewing tips

Coordinated thread: Mettler 4000

Recommended needle: use denim needles or size 100-110. Please note, this thick fabric is not recommended for beginner sewers. We recommend using a relatively powerful sewing machine and suitable needles: new denim needles. We suggest stitching the fabric slowly to get through the layers. If needed, use a walking foot and a levelling plate at the back of the presser foot.
