Fabrics & Supplies
- Fabric suggestions
- Stretch knit (with elastane): cotton jersey, viscose jersey, ribbed jersey, velvet jersey, wool/mérinos jersey, openwork/pointelle jersey, stretch lace.
- Cotton jersey for the panty lining.
- Supplies
- 6/7 mm (1/4") wide laminette.
- 10/11 mm (3/8") jersey snaps (or hand-sew snaps).
- Fine woven fusible interfacing.
- Option: 9 mm (3/8") decorative button if slit option is chosen.
The fabric requirements are the same regardless of the neckline option chosen.
Similarly, for slit and high collar options, the additional pieces are included in the fabric yardage.
If the outer fabric is not cotton or textured, add the cotton fabric yardage; otherwise, the panty lining is included in the fabric yardage.
If you choose a neckline that is low-cut only at the front or back, still take the laminette yardage for "low-cut neckline."
